It’s all about you!! Treatment is different for every patient and will include a number of different techniques as appropriate to your case – no two patients are the same, neither should be the treatment plans. Unlike some, we tailor our treatment plans appropriate to you and your condition – there is no formulaic approach with us. We will also suggest activities that you can do between treatments to speed and aid your recovery and help to prevent re-injury.

Treatments Swindon Osteopath Osteopathy We use a wide range of gentle Osteopathic mobilsation, adjustments and manipulation, depending on your age, fitness and diagnosis. Cranial Osteopathy Cranial Osteopathy is a very gentle type of osteopathic treatment used to treat all age groups, gently encouraging the release of tensions in the body, promoting greater health, wellbeing and sleep. Cranial Osteopathy can be highly effective and aims to treat the whole person, not just the condition and is therefore appropriate treatment for a wide range of situations. Western Medical Acupuncture Acupuncture stimulates the nerves which can produce a variety of effects; it increases the body's release of natural painkillers - endorphin and serotonin - in the pain pathways of both the spinal cord and the brain, modifying the way pain signals are received. Whilst acupuncture is effective in reducing pain, it also has a beneficial effect on health with patients often noting an improved sense of well being. Frozen Shoulder: Neil Asher Technique Acupuncture stimulates the nerves which can produce a variety of effects; it increases the body's release of natural painkillers - endorphin and serotonin - in the pain pathways of both the spinal cord and the brain, modifying the way pain signals are received. Whilst acupuncture is effective in reducing pain, it also has a beneficial effect on health with patients often noting an improved sense of well being. We are the only clinic in Swindon, qualified in the Neil Asher Technique. Positional Release Positional release is a gentle technique that releases tense muscles or muscle groups. We focus on tender point in muscles, ligaments, tendons and joints, moving them towards the position of greatest comfort and use specialised palpation to facilitate release. Kinesio Taping Kinesio taping helps to correct the alignment of muscles and facilitates joint motion, aided by the tape's ability to recoil.  The tape also creates a minimal lift to the skin, increasing the space below it, helping to improve blood flow and circulation of lymphatic fluids and reducing pressure on the body's pain receptors.
